Main Specifics

As explained in the "Create from template" section of the documentation, there are two different ways to create a project. In here we'll cover the second one - how to clone another project.

There are two different ways to clone a project, and we'll go through both of them in this article. No matter which way you take, the final result will be the same - you'll have an exact copy of the project you cloned, with the following specifics:

Specifics
  • All the information from the different sections in the Project Builder is copied:
    • the original project's status;
    • the sample source setup of the original project;
    • the questions from the original project;
    • the quota setup from the original project;
  • The original project's data is not copied;

Further information on what each of these basic components from the project represent, can be found in the Project Builder section of the documentation.
